Question – authentic 1997 Axis neck plate ?

I’ve been offered a ‘97 Axis – concerned over neck plate – 5 bolt recessed serial number beginning A but no Ernie Ball logo – just the Musicman logo – should I be worried ?

I have checked serial number with MM and relates to Axis of same colour n neck fingerboard construction ..
