Sterling Necks, SR-50 neck finish, customizing Sterling neck Thickness
Hi,
I love the neck on the sterling SR-50, it feels great, I just wish the neck would be thinner, and less chunky.
So I wonder if I can sand down the back of the neck as I did in so many other guitars, I do not know how I can get the back of the neck to feel as it is originally…what is the coat on that neck? do you think that rubbing a good wood oil can get me very close to that feel?
and just in case, there are Sterling neck replacements?
