Sterling Short Scale vs Ray24
I was hoping someone could help me understand the differneces (other than the 4 inch scale length) between the short scale and Ray24. I realize the SS only has a 3 way selector and the Ray has an active 2 band EQ, but as tone is concerned whats the difference?
I am a guitar player, looking learn bass and have something to record at home with. I know a shorter scale can make the strings looser feeling, and obviously easier to reach between frets, but is one more powerful, or have a better “rock” bass sound?
