Stingray HT manufacturing defect ?

Hi, just opened a ticket for this but I would like to hear your advices. I own a Stingray HT from 2024 and I took it to a luthier for a set up before tuning it to C standard. when doing the set up for the intonation he was forced to use the lowest setting on the tune o matic bridge, for the third string in particular.
