Stingray low to no output.

Hi, I hope you guys can help me out. I bought this bass new a year and a half ago. Until 2 weeks ago it began giving me trouble. I replaced the battery with a new duracell and still no luck, got a new cable, tried a different amp. Later on I took the back plate off just to see if anything became unplugged and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary, then I put plate back in and plugged it in and it started working.
