String recommendations for SR Special

Looking at trying some coated strings but I don’t really have a lot of experience. I usually prefer brighter round-wounds for rock and metal. I use a pick about half the time and have been trying to lighten my right hand attack to get some longer life because I seem to kill strings pretty quickly.

Looking at Elixer, DR Dragon Skin, and D’addario XT. Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried them.
