Switching the pickups from an HSS cutlass to a SSS cutlass.

Sounds kind of crazy but I am thinking about doing it. I currently own two Cutli, one an HSS the other an SSS RS. When I bought the SSS RS, I actually ordered it with an HSS config, but I assume they sent me the SSS on accident. The SSS is so light and magnificent, that I was simply thinking about switching out the PU’s, rather than exchanging and waiting for a guitar that may not be as light.

My question is in 3 parts

A) does the additional electronics on these guitars mean that doing a swap like this would be more complicated than otherwise?

B) If I were to sell a guitar that was originally an HSS configuration swapped to an SSS, would that be dishonest?

C) is this s stupid idea?
