Triple delay; what does saving actually store?!
I find myself being puzzled at the Triple Delay quite a lot. And I’ve seen lots a gear for 20+ years…
Please let me know if I’ve analyzed the behavior correctly. I seem to loose/alter some settings whenever I save a preset.
What I think the pedal does is this: save the current button/knob settings into the preset, including delay type selection. Instead of, what I would expect: save the actual current state that I’m currently hearing. Is that correct?
Second question; whenever I select another delay type, I seem to loose/alter the tapped tempo setting. It seems to be overridden by the current setting of the “time” knob. (i.e. when I use the time knob for the time setting, this behavior is not perceived, as the delay time stays the same… so it seems)
Is that correct?
If so, then…. I won’t be getting along with it, that’s 180 degrees different than my workflow.
