Where should I put my amp in the loop?
I have a Carvin V3 amp and am integrating my G system into it, should I place the amps input after the G system out or in the effect loop send like some have suggested? I am setting up the midi switching so I can use both the V3 drive channels as well as a nova drive. I will use the amps effect loop to put the effects after the drives either way.
I’m guess I need to try both ways and see how much the clean channel of the V3 colors the tones on the G system vs running them separately. I was used to running my nova system in front of the preamp on the clean channel and using that for Eq-ing the presets, then bypassing the effects when i use the drive channels on the amp.
