Vintage Guitars Revo Elektra – Reviewed

Here’s the latest review from our sister-site Acoustic Review Live Room featuring a Vintage Guitars Revo Elektra

Featuring…

  • Laminated Acacia top back and sides
  • Bolt-on maple neck
  • 650mm scale length rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets
  • Perloid block inlays
  • Alan Entwhistle XS75ND Astrosonic QX magnetic pick-up
“Generally the build quality is ok – the fret ends are a bit untidy but they’re not sharp, there’s a small section on the back of the neck join where the binding has caught some stain…”

Filmed at Paul Caboche Studios (Cornwall, UK), July 2024

“Tone-wise it’s a very dry, string-heavy sound – there’s not much body or sustain, but it does have a certain crispy charm to it”

Vintage Guitars Says…”The new Vintage REVO Elektra Series of electro-acoustic guitars continue the retro lines and hybrid theme of the highly successful Vintage REVO series of electric guitars.
Once again, designed by world renowned UK guitar designer and hardware specialist Alan Entwistle.”

“…the bolted on neck plate make for a different look – one that’s definitely pushing for late-60s vibes and doing it quite successfully.”

Vintage Guitars Revo Elektra:

UK RRP: £349.00

“The five way rotary switch is a good way of having easily recallable tones to hand, and overall it was quite enjoyable plugged in.”
