JHS adds Ultra-Pure Oils

JHS has added US brand Ultra-Pure Oils to its line-up of MI products, commencing 1st May 2019. The newly-formed partnership will see the American brand’s catalogue of USA-made instrument oils and lubricants, and cleaning products and accessories, distributed throughout UK and ROI.

Founded in 1990 by Ken Saul and now firmly established as a leading name in instrument care and maintenance, Ultra-Pure Oils remains a family-run and operated business, JHS says, adding: ‘The company’s range of products is comprehensive, offering a huge selection of cleaning and care solutions for brass and woodwind players. Ultra-Pure valve oils and lubes are made in the USA, endorsed by a number of Grammy and Emmy award-winning artists, and trusted by professional and amateur musicians the world over’.

Speaking about the distribution deal, Ken Saul, General Manager of Ultra-Pure Oils LLC, said: ‘We are thrilled to be partnering with JHS for distribution across the UK and ROI, and look forward to offering our products to brass and woodwind players there. Ultra-Pure Oils has been developing fine synthetic lubricants for musical instruments since 1990, and our brand has amassed a large and loyal support around the world.’

JHS’s Brasswind specialist Peter Pollard added: ‘I have known Ken Saul and used Ultra-Pure products for many years. Having watched the line grow continually down the years, I am so happy to finally see this wonderful brand join us and become part of the JHS family.’

JHS Managing Director Dennis Drumm said: ‘This is a hugely exciting partnership for JHS. Ultra-Pure Oils products have a reputation for excellence and we are extremely proud to represent the Ultra-Pure name in the marketplace. Using our considerable marketing resources and expertise, we aim to grow the brand, allowing musicians to better care for their instruments and enjoy their music making more than ever.’
