Registration for The NAMM Advocacy Summit is Now Open

On Tuesday, May 25, NAMM members, music educators and administrators, college music faculty, students, music and cultural organization staff, parents and community arts advocates are invited to gather for the NAMM Advocacy Summit. The online event will take place from 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. ET, and feature speakers, advocacy briefings and trainings, as well as a call to action to continue the work of advancing music education as a right of every child.

The event will feature a series of live, interactive sessions from national arts leaders on topics such as changing education demographics, funding for and the true cost of music education, and the connection between music and arts education and school attendance, as well as policy updates and preparing for Congressional outreach. Participants will also have access to networking opportunities and peer-to-peer idea exchange in the days prior to the event.
