Calling all Iron Maiden fans – you can now get your hands on the signature Iron Maiden x Dunlop Cry Baby wah pedal that launched earlier this year at The NAMM Show for less.
Now reduced to £169 at Thomann as part of its Guitar Day deals for a limited time only, fans and collectors alike can own the crucial wah tone used across the band’s landmark Killers album from 1981, which is certified Gold in both the US and UK.

The pedal has a rather cool design on its face, featuring none other than the band’s skeletal mascot, Eddie, taken right from the Killers album artwork. It also features the Killers title in the same font it appears in on the album’s cover, while the band’s logo runs along the side of the unit.
At the time of its release earlier this year, Metallica’s Kirk Hammett was one of the first artists to get his hands on the pedal. He shared a video to Instagram opening the pedal, in which you can also get a glimpse of its packaging – also worthy of display.

Beneath its Iron Maiden design and fittingly metal exterior, the pedal itself is essentially the classic GCB95 Cry Baby Standard Wah. Find out more and get a better look in the short video below:
Iron Maiden were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year, five whole decades after their debut. But interestingly, the band haven’t felt like making much of a fuss about it.
Speaking to Metal Hammer in June, bassist Steve Harris and frontman Bruce Dickinson made it clear that while they’re grateful for the recognition, it’s never been something they’ve spent much time thinking about.
Harris said, “It’s never really bothered me one way or the other, because awards aren’t what we do this for. But in a weird way I’m glad it’s happened so the Americans will stop banging on about it. To me, if you get offered something, you say, ‘Thank you very much.’ But did I lose sleep over getting it or not getting it? No.”
