Paul Daniel Wright joins Blackstar
Paul Daniel Wright has joined the Blackstar team as Director of Business Development.
Wright, like Blackstar founders Ian Richardson and Paul Hayhoe, is a former Marshall employee, and has spent the past 30 years working with some of the industry’s major brands, including Marshall, Line 6, inMusic and Music Group. Blackstar reports that during the past 18 months he has contributed to the wholesale restructuring of Blackstar’s international distribution relationships through his consulting company Music Industry Connectivity. This new role will enable him to fully use his unique depth of knowledge and experience within Blackstar.
Ian Robinson (Blackstar co-founder and MD) says: ‘I first met Paul while I worked at Marshall in 1996 and over the next 22 years our paths have crossed many times. At Blackstar we are all delighted to be working with such a world-class professional and excited to continue growing our business with him as part of our team.’
