Audified releases the ToneSpot Electric Pro plugin

Audified has released the ToneSpot Electric Pro. Audified says the plugin “improves the tone, no matter what amps, stompboxes, or plugins its users are already using”.
Anyone who has recorded guitars, at home or otherwise, knows that the process throws up several challenges. Often software amps leave your guitar sounding fizzy and artificial, or slow your DAW to a crawl. Even fitting a mic’d up tube amp into an overall mix can be a daunting challenge, especially for beginners.
Audified bills the ToneSpot Electric Pro as a “magic bullet” for these issues. The plugin does not function as an amplifier in itself, but instead offers several production tools geared specifically towards guitars. It’s clear the goal here is to help guitarists fine tune a tone they already love so that it sits well in a mix, and easily achieve the highly-polished guitar sound of a professional recording.
The controls are spread across 8 modules: Voicing, Character, Saturation, Shaping, Smash, Surgery, Effects, and Finalizer.
Voicing, Surgery, Character, Shaping and the Finalizer all allow for fine control of different EQ and voicing characteristics, from broad sweeps to narrow-band notch cuts. Smash is a fast-attack compressor to clamp down on dynamics, with parallel functionality. The Effects module offers various modulation, delay and reverb options, while Saturation adds a natural-sounding tube-saturation and an optional clean-boost to be engaged.

The plugin lists for the introductory price of $49, increasing to $99 on 18 October 2019. More information at audified.com.
