
Gardiner Houlgate’s June Auction includes vintage Fenders and player-grade Martins
Gardiner Houlgate’s second auction this year takes place on June 25, with a plethora of vintage, player-grade and left-field guitars and amplifiers available. This month’s catalogue is packed to the rafters with exquisite electrics and beautiful acoustics, with the guitar sale taking place on Thursday, June 25.
2000 C.F. Martin & Co Vintage Series OM-28VIn the auction you’ll find a 1989 Fender Signature Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster which was bought by The Who ready for conversion for Pete Townshend. There’s also an exquisite 000 C.F. Martin & Co Vintage Series OM-28V and a player-grade 1974 Fender Stratocaster with replacement, plus an undeniably cool mid-90s Fender Jag-Stang Kurt Cobain.

The auction will be a one day online only sale, commencing at 10am. Internet bidding via GH will be surcharge free. All lots subject to our standard buyers’ premium of 24% (inc. VAT). As normal commission bids and telephone bids will also be accepted.
Public viewing is permitted on an appointment only basis. 2-hour slots limited to 8 people per slot will be made available to enable safe socially distant viewing for both staff and our customers.
Viewing slots are as follows:
Friday 19th June: 10am – 12noon; 12noon – 2pm; 2pm – 4pm
Saturday 20th June: 10am – 12noon; 12noon – 2pm; 2pm – 4pm
