Grab yourself a set of Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein’s signature Annihilators
USA-based string manufacturer, Dean Markley, has teamed up with Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein to release a new signature set of strings – the Annihilators. Doyle and Dean Markley have previously released artists strings together, with Doyle relying on Dean Markley strings to stand up to his “jackhammer”-like playing.
The strings are made from nickel-plated steel wound slowly over a hex core, for more contact between the wind and the core for a more solid feel, and stronger sustain. The gauges of the strings run at: .010/.013/.017/.028/.038/.060. The thick lower strings will perform great at drop-tunings, or just provide a rock-solid feel and beefy output when tuned to standard.
Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, as well as being noted for his work with seminal Horror Punk outfit Misfits, also plays in his own band Doyle.
Dean Markley also produce artist series strings for DJ Ashba and Lita Ford, among others.
