Guitar Center’s Guitar-A-Thon is here: Get up to 30% off on guitars, amps, pedals and more

Guitar Center is currently hosting a Guitar-A-Thon sale until 29 April, offering huge deals across guitars, pedals, amplifiers and more both in-stores and online.
The Guitar-A-Thon is celebrating eight decades of Guitar Center, which launched in the 1950s originally as The Organ Center. Deals may vary depending on location, but we’ve combed through some of the best finds online right now.

Starting with guitars, you can now get a Guitar Center exclusive Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS Plus Top with a maple fingerboard, a flame maple top and Blue Burst finish for $699.99 with 25 percent off. With a humbucker in the bridge position, paired with Alnico V single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, this model delivers both “bold, aggressive tones ideal for cutting through dense mixes”, while its single coils provide “glassy highs and defined mids”.

You can also save on the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Widow, which comes in Purple Burst, Indigo Burst, Red Burst, and Orange Burst. Part of Epiphone’s Inspired by Gibson Collection, it offers a mahogany body with a flame maple top, an ebony fingerboard, ProBucker Custom humbuckers, and unique colour-matched binding. You can save $160 on these.

Not all of course, there are loads more deals on guitars from Squier, Sterling By Music Man, Martin, Ibanez, and others. Moving on to amps though, a limited-edition Boss Katana Gen 3 50W combo amplifier is reduced to $349.99, and Positive Grid’s Spark 2 50W Guitar combo amp is now down to $297.
Though more on the pricey side, Fender’s Tone Master Pro multi-effects unit is also included in the deals. Still four figures, it’s now $1,499.99 with $100 off. You should certainly get plenty of bang for your buck, though, as you get over 100 amp and effect models onboard, including official recreations of Fender tube amps and the first-ever licensed 5150 Stealth from EVH.
As for pedals, you can save on the JHS Pedals Packrat distortion/fuzz, the Morely Cliff Burton Power Wah Fuzz, MXR EVH 5150 Bumblebee Overdrive, the Warm Audio WA-TS Tube Squealer dual overdrive (which we rated 8/10), just to name a selection.
