Mick Fleetwood, a co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, has revealed that he doubts the band will perform again following the death of Christine McVie.

The musician was attending the 65th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony last night (5 February) when he opened up about the future of the band.
“I think right now, I truly think the line in the sand has been drawn with the loss of Chris,” he told The Times Sunday at the event (reported via The Los Angeles Times).
“I’d say we’re done, but then we’ve all said that before. It’s sort of unthinkable right now.”
McVie, Fleetwood Mac’s keyboardist and vocalist, died last November after experiencing “a short illness”. She was aged 79.
Elsewhere in the interview, Fleetwood confirmed that while it is unlikely that the band will reunite following McVie’s passing, the other members will continue performing as part of other projects.
The drummer also explained that he hopes to continue playing live as well, just “not as Fleetwood Mac”.
Hinting that he is currently looking for musicians to help form a new project, he said:
“[The other members] all get out and play, so I’m gonna be doing the same thing, finding people to play with.” Adding, “Anyone out there?”
Later at the event, the musician teamed up with Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt for a unique performance, held during the In Memoriam section of the event.
The trio performed an emotional cover of Songbird, a track written by McVie and released on the band’s iconic 1977 album Rumours.
