Jack White to release new album ‘No Name’ which is “true to his DIY roots”
Jack White is releasing a new record titled No Name, which he recorded, produced and mixed himself.
Arriving on Friday 2 August, the release will mark his sixth solo record and lands after a surprise giveaway across his Third Man Records stores back in July.

Unsuspecting customers who made a purchase at one of three Third Man Records stores on 19 July were slipped a copy in their bag. The record’s sleeve revealed no details on the contents or track listing, and even White’s own publicist reportedly knew nothing of the move. White has since played through six of the tracks at an intimate show.
A press release about the album states (via NME), “True to his DIY roots, this album was recorded, produced, and mixed by White at his Third Man Studio throughout 2023 and 2024, pressed to vinyl at Third Man Pressing, and released by Third Man Records.
“With the surprise unveiling of No Name, via a giveaway with purchase in Third Man stores on 19 July, fans proved that the rumblings of something mysterious can grow into the beautiful experience of a community sharing the excitement and energy of music and art. Third Man is thrilled today to bring this music and mission to a wider audience.”
The tracklist is as follows:
Old Scratch Blues
Bless Yourself
That’s How I’m Feeling
It’s Rough on Rats (If You’re Asking)
Archbishop Harold Holmes
Bombing Out
What’s the Rumpus?
Tonight (Was a Long Time Ago)
Underground
Number One With a Bullet
Morning at Midnight
Missionary
Terminal Archenemy Endling
A limited edition blue vinyl is available in Third Man Records stores now. You can visit the Third Man Records website from 2 August to pre-order the album on black vinyl. It will also be available digitally from this date.
