
Leaks of the Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster surface online
The next model in Fender’s hybrid Acoustasonic series is Jazzmaster-shaped, according to leaks that have surfaced online.

Several retailers have listed the American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster on their websites, with product descriptions claiming it will feature the same Fishman-designed acoustic engine as its Telecaster and Stratocaster counterparts.
Here’s the full product description, according to several of these online retailers:
“The American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster represents the next phase of purposeful innovation that drives Fender acoustic guitars. The power of the Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine is sure to deliver true inspiration. From acoustic shapeshifting to electric rhythm tones, this extremely versatile guitar opens a new door to discovering endless sonic possibilities.”
US retailer Yandas Music lists the American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster at $1,999 in five different finishes – including one in white, which has also been spotted in an Instagram Story by Deep Sea Diver’s Jessica Dobson.
Image: Deep Sea Diver via InstagramMeanwhile, Canadian retailers St. John’s Music and Rufus Guitar Shop have listed the model in a Natural finish for CA$2,799. The latter retailer also noted that the guitar will start shipping in March.
There has been no official word from Fender on when the Acoustasonic Jazzmaster will launch and how much it will cost.

Fender’s Acoustasonic series first turned heads at 2019’s NAMM Show with the American Acoustasonic Telecaster. The guitar was praised for how it combined the brand’s classic electric guitar design with acoustic guitar elements. In our 9/10 review of the Acoustasonic Telecaster, we called it a “problem-solving, tonally versatile and an inspiring songwriting companion”.
