Listen: Bruce Springsteen releases 2012 performance of Where The Bands Are
For each month of social isolation, Bruce Springsteen is releasing a new concert via digital download. This month is a Gothenburg show he performed with the E Street Band in July 2012.

The night was notable for the emotional torch-passing that occurred. Saxophonist Clarence Clemons had died the previous year, and so it fell on his nephew, Jake Clemons, to take up the mantle, which he did so flawlessly for the performance of the Jungleland.
Speaking to the crowd before the song, Springsteen said: “as you know, Clarence was a special part of Sweden. This was a very special place for him. And so tonight, we haven’t done this one in a long time and we haven’t practiced it. So this is for the Big Man.”
Springsteen previously released footage of his 2009 Hyde Park performance, marking its debut into the digital realm.
