My Guitar Story: Adam Miller’s signature Nik Huber Rietbergen
Virtuosic guitar player Adam Miller became a fan of Nik Huber’s luthiery many years ago after stumbling across his work in a guitar magazine. The blend of archtop and Telecaster styles was perfect for his playing style. Acquired in 2016, he states that the guitar is closer in tone and feel to a Telecaster rather than the 335 it is visually reminiscent of.

Based on Huber’s Rietbergen model, construction consists of a mahogany neck, whilst the back, sides and centre block are carved from one piece of mahogany. The top is Californian redwood with a natural finish, accentuating the flame. Unique to Miller’s signature model are the Lollar Gold Foil single coils and the rosewood fingerboard. The guitar has since become a loyal companion to Miller, accompanying him on numerous sessions and tours, regularly as the sole guitar.
