Oh Sees change their name to Osees and announce their latest album, Protean Threat

Oh Sees have changed their name (again) to Osees and announced a new album, entitled Protean Threat.
The latest version of John Dywer’s psychedelic rock outfit have also shared the first single from the new project, entitled Dreary Nonsense. Take a listen to the short song below:

It’s the latest of many band name changes the group has seen since it’s inception: they’ve worked under the names Orinoka Crash Suite, OCS, Orange County Sound, The Ohsees, The Oh Sees, and Thee Oh Sees. The band released ‘Facestabber’ as Oh Sees in 2019, while Dwyer shared ‘Bug on Yonkers’ under his Damaged Bug moniker earlier this year.
The announcement came alongside an all-caps, all-consuming statement, which is effectively impossible to break up into relevant chunks of information. Therefore, it is reprinted in full below:
