Solar guitars unveils the A1.7D LTD and the A1.6D LTD
Solar Guitars has unveiled the A1.6D LTD and the A1.7D LTD, distressed finish versions of its A1 range of six and seven-string guitars.
Both guitars feature a super-strat design, with extreme gouges on each cutaway for easy access to all 24 jumbo frets. The maple neck sports a C-profile, with a 13.78” radius ebony fretboard. The only inlay is the Solar logo on the 12th fret, but glow-in-the-dark side dots should guide your hands to where they need to be, even on dark stages.
The Duncan Solar pickups are governed by a master volume and tone, with a five-way blade selector switch that will split the pickups for single coiled sounds.
The Evertune bridge and locking solar tuners should see rock-solid tuning stability and, like the rest of the hardware, are finished in distressed chrome.
Solar Guitar’s Ola Englund revealed the guitar in a recent Q&A video, where he gave a brief rundown of the model.
The A1.6D lists for €1,199 while the A1.7D lists for €1,299. More information at solar-guitars.com
