Steve Lukather wishes his neighbour good morning with fully-cranked guitar solo
Toto guitarist Steve Lukather has shared a candid, early morning exchange between his next-door neighbour and himself over Instagram.
Responding to an unwanted morning call from his neighbour’s loud leaf blowers, a pyjama-clad Lukather directed towards his neighbour a personalised, socially distanced guitar performance at full-volume – complete with tremolo picking and sequenced pentatonic sextuplets runs.
The video was shared to Lukather’s Instagram account, where the guitarist captioned: “What happens when the dickhead neighbour’s [gardener] starts up 10 blowers at 7 AM! #goodmorningsunshine #fuckyou”

“This is [too] legendary not to repost,” he wrote. “Pop bringing the full fuck you rockstar mode to his neighbour rivalry. Man, this had me crying.”
“I think this might be Pop’s quarantine gig haha. Send me your neighbour story and let’s see if we can get pop to come over and do this for you”
