U2’s Bono and the Edge spotted busking in Dublin on Christmas Eve

Passers-by on Dublin’s Grafton Street were treated to a Christmas Eve special as U2’s Bono and the Edge busked at an annual fundraiser.
The event ropes in Irish musicians to raise funds for the city’s homeless, and this year’s edition saw the U2 rockers busk alongside organiser Glen Hansard of The Swell Season, Damien Rice and Imelda May, among others.
Bono and the Edge serenaded the packed street with a stripped-down version of Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way, before delivering renditions of two beloved Christmas carols: O Holy Night and O Night Divine. But the highlight of the festive occasion? All the musicians joining in on a performance of Darlene Love’s Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
This, as you would expect, isn’t the first time Bono has taken part in the annual affair. The singer was present at the 2015 edition, where he performed U2’s Every Breaking Wave and When Love Comes To Town.
