Heh, didn’t realize you NEED batteries to play. I thought it only needed them when you pushed the ‘active’ pickup controls. I was about to fuss at my Helix when it stopped responding. I changed guitar cords and it would play for awhile, then stop.

Then I had one of those Simpson, “D’oh” moments. Dropped in some Lithium AAs I just bought from Amazon (good price on the 12 pack) and all is well.
