NGD: JP15-7 and a few questions

It arrived! I’ll spend the next few days forming an opinion on the neck profile (first impression: it’s thinner than I had hoped) and how well I can adjust to the control layout/trem arm placement. Otherwise as expected a piece of outstanding workmanship. Can’t wait to plug her in later.

Meanwhile, I think the action is too high. What’s the correct way to adjust things on these? Lower the individual saddles? Lower the bridge altogether? Is the bridge plate supposed to be completely flat or at a slight angle like in my photo?

Other little caveat: There is a sharp edge/corner at the output jack gizmo. Hope that’s visible on the photos as well. The upper back corner next to the “mono” output jack is lifted up a bit. When I press down on it makes a little “sticky” noise so I’m wondering if these are glued down usually?

Lastly and just in case: are the knobs/pots standard size? I may want to put more of a barrel/Tele knob on there. And are there wiring diagrams available for these?
