Noise with my Majesty

I recently purchased a Sterling By Music Man Majesty 6 Artic Dream. The guitar is beautiful, it has a wonderful sound and it’s a joy to play, but the problem comes when I play metal (so I have very high distortion) and you can hear a lot of background noise.
