Wavering sound on Stingray HH5

HELP!!
I have a strange problem.
All of a sudden, when I pluck a note on my Stingray (2010 model) bass, the sound has waves. It is more pronounced on the D and G strings and becomes increasingly obvious on the higher notes. It occurs on all pickup settings but the intensity is greatest on the neck pickup. This is very disturbing because I have gone through the trouble shooting such as check battery, check the volume pot, check strings and I even checked the wiring of the…
