JHS Appoints Sales Office Team Leader and Sales Office Representative

Matt Brown, who joined JHS in October 2020 as Sales Office Representative has been promoted to Sales Office Team Leader. Matt comes from a family immersed in music, with siblings and children as musicians, a mum who plays guitar and sang in bands and a personal love for music which includes playing the piano.

Matt’s varied and interesting career has seen him be involved in the offshore oil industry, professional landscape gardening, various Government agency administrative roles and several years as a professional footballer with Leeds United, international football coach and previously worked in the MI industry for Audio Technica.

Bringing over twenty years of customer service and sales and sales management experience to the JHS team, Matt has a solid background in Pro Audio and a terrific working knowledge of the musical products categories JHS offers.

Besides managing the sales office team, Matt will be looking after JHS dealers in the South East of England, and Scotland with a combination of telephone engagement and personal visits where his fastidious attention to detail and easy going manner will gel well with the ethos of the team and the expectations of JHS customers.

Simon Shields, JHS Sales Office Representative

Simon joined JHS as a Sales Office Representative in February 2021. A child of the nineties and a Yorkshire lad, Simon is an accomplished musician, guitarist, and vocalist with a wide range of musical interests from Motley Crue, to R.E.M and beyond. With a BSc in Music Technology, he has a strong interest in Musical Theatre and the technology of sound in the theatre and a terrific empathy for the products in the JHS ranges.

A passion for music and musical instruments, a wealth of experience in sales and customer service from his many years in the retail Fashion industry and a determination to get the job done fits in well with the JHS Way.
