A Line 6 amplifier, used and signed by The Cure, is going up for auction to support the Sydney Children’s Choir
A Line 6 Spider V 120 is set to be auctioned off in support of the Sydney Children’s choir. The amp has been signed by all five members of The Cure, and was used at their sold-out show at the Sydney Opera House, celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Disintegration.
All five amps used at the performance have been donated to arts organisations for children selected by frontman Robert Smith. Alongside the Gondwana Choirs (who run the Sydney Children’s Choir) the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, Indigenous Literature Foundation, Milk Crate Theatre, and Studio A received amplifiers from the show. The donation has been supported by Yamaha and the Sydney Opera House.
All proceeds will support Gondwana Choirs’ choral music education programs for children – find out more and bid at Gondwana.org.au.
