ESP’s new LTD 400-Series axes get the metallic fade treatment

ESP has launched six new LTD 400 axes, all featuring metallic fade finishes. Offered in a spectrum of colours and models, the new guitars feature professional appointments at an affordable price.
Here’s a snapshot of the models:
EC-400
This model (seen above) comes in a Black Pearl Fade Metallic finish. It’s got a mahogany body, three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, Grover tuners and an EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) humbucker combo.
Lists for $749.
H-400

Offered in Crimson Fade Metallic, this fiery number has an arch-topped mahogany body. It’s also got a three-piece U-shaped maple neck with a set-thru construction, a string-through-body fixed bridge, and Seymour Duncan Jazz (neck) and Custom-5 (bridge) pups.
Lists for $749.
M-400

The M-400 features a Solar Fade Metallic finish and a similar tonewood and pickup configuration to the H-400. But on top of that, it offers a reverse headstock and Floyd Rose Special bridge.
Lists for $749.
MH-400FR & MH-400NT
MH-400FROver on the cooler side of things, the MH-400FR arrives in a Blue Pearl Metallic Fade finish. It also has a mahogany body with a three-piece maple neck, but its tone is provided by an EMG 85 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) combo.
MH-400NTA Floyd Rose Special bridge wraps things up for this axe. The MH-400NT is almost identical to the FR except it swaps out the tremolo bridge for a Tune-o-matic one, and features a Violet Pearl Metallic Fade finish.
List for $849 (MH-400FR) and $799 (MH-400NT).
Viper-400

Last on this list is the double cutaway Viper-400 in a Pinkberry Fade Metallic finish. This vibrant axe features a mahogany body with a three-piece mahogany set-neck. Tone for this axe comes via Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck) and hot-rodded JB (bridge) pickups.
Lists for $749.
