Queens of the Stone Age announce four vinyl reissues
Queens of the Stone Age have announced Vinyl reissues of Songs for the Deaf, Era Vulgaris, Lullabies to Paralyze and Rated R. The records will be pressed on black 180 gram vinyl, with Rated R and Songs for the Deaf being available on 22 November this year, and Lullabies to Paralyze and Era Vulgaris being available on 20 December. The albums are the quartet of records the group released on Interscope Records. The only album that precedes them in the band’s chronology is their 1998 self-titled release.

The announcement comes after Josh Homme, the band’s frontman, reformed his Desert Sessions project for an isolated recording session last December. Desert Sessions Volumes 11 and 12, featuring contributors such as Matt Berry, Les Claypool and Stella Mozgawa, are due for release on 25 October this year.
The four albums being reissued contain some of the band’s most successful songs, and helped cement QOTSA as an incredibly influential group. Queens of the Stone Age’s latest album, Villains, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim.
