Adam Getgood, formerly of Periphery, teams up with Neural DSP on plug-in collection
Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood has joined forces with Neural DSP on a signature plug-in collection, called Archetype: Nolly. Much like the brand’s collaboration with Australian prog rocker Plini, the Nolly collection features a host of emulations, effects and cab sims tailored to the former Periphery man’s preferences.
At the core of the collection are four tube amp emulations – clean, crunch, rhythm and lead – that have been modelled after Nolly’s own guitar amplifiers. These are joined by pre-effects and post-amp sections. The former comprises digital models of two OD/booster pedals, a solid-state compressor as well as a nine-band EQ. Post-amp, on the other hand, is touted to help you create lush ambiences with a multi-dimensional reverb and “dreamy” delay pedal.
Finally, the collection also arrives with 640 IR cab sims that Nolly captured himself with the help of four of his favourite microphones.
