NAMM 2019 Video: Seymour Duncan releases Dark Sun Mark Holcomb signature

Seymour Duncan has teamed up with Mark Holcomb of Periphery on a delay and ’verb unit dubbed Dark Sun.
This stompbox aims to deliver warm and clean digital delay, as well as a lush hall reverb. What’s unique about it, however, is its ability to route the two in whatever configuration you desire. Designed under Holcomb’s direction, the Dark Sun features a routing system governed by a four-position switch that creates vastly different sounds according to how it’s set.
You can set delay first to create new reverberations with every repeat, or set reverb first for a more natural dramatic repeat of the ’verb trail. You can also set the effects to left/right channels for stereo or as two solo pedals in one.
Apart from that, the Dark Sun also features a healthy dose of gain, filters and modulation controls. More details here:
Low Pass Filter: Soften and warm up sound
High Pass Filter: Cut low-end repeats, so you can use high mix settings without overpowering your sound
Saturation: Adds gain for lo-fi effects, tape-like saturation or shoegaze-style distorted repeats
Note that the modulation section can be applied to either of the effects, or both.
