Summer NAMM 2019: D’Angelico introduces the Brandon “Taz” Niederauer Atlantic signature model
Back at Winter NAMM 2019, D’Angelico unveiled a new Atlantic signature model for 16-year-old guitar prodigy Brandon “Taz” Niederauer. The single-cut solidbody has now arrived, promising high output and soaring vintage tones.
Taz’s Atlantic model is available in both Premier and Deluxe versions. Both models are decked in a striking custom sonic blue finish that’s embellished with satin chrome hardware. Each instrument is also designed for comfort, as evidenced by the C-shaped neck profile and streamlined body design.
Taz’s Deluxe Atlantic signature modelThe Deluxe version is loaded with a Seymour Duncan custom DA-59 humbucker at the neck and an Antiquity humbucker at the bridge. Together these pups are said to deliver scorching vintage-like tones. The Premier version, on the other hand, is stocked with a pair of Duncan Designed humbuckers.
